Three fatalities occurred and at least nine others were injured in the newest assault from Ukraine on the border territory of Russia of Belgorod, as stated by its governor.

The loss of life took place subsequent to an assault on the village of Maslova Pristan during Wednesday morning, authorities reported. Rescue personnel were carrying on seeking for people potentially caught under wreckage.

For the third day in a row that Ukraine has targeted the region, causing numerous residents without power and at least two other people fatally injured.

Series of Attacks Result in Destruction

The Wednesday wave of missile and drone strikes damaged homes, automobiles and energy systems in multiple districts of Belgorod, according to authority reports.

Within the adjacent community of Moshchenoye, six people - involving a young person - sustained injuries when a rocket and drone struck a truck, while an individual sustained injuries when a car was hit in Masychevo.

The strikes follow 48 hours of comparable strikes that have resulted in power outages and structural damage in urban Belgorod and surrounding areas.
